Position Description

This position lovingly greets our neighbours as they come to the facility. They communicate in a warm, kind, loving Christ-like manner helping direct people to the various ministry areas.

Responsibilities

• Arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of a function for prayer, daily briefing and assignments

• Welcome neighbours as they come to Centre for the City

• Direct neighbours to the various ministry areas (Café, Clothing, Foodbank, New Canadians, evening program spaces, etc.)

• Regular attendance at ministry trainings and meetings

Time Commitment

One evening a week as follows.

• Mondays: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Wednesdays: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with, the CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits (cf https://www.cschurch.ca/central/about/who-we-are/)
