Position Description

This position works to create an atmosphere of welcome by decorating the Café space.

Responsibilities

• Prior to the arrival of neighbours into the Café decorate the tables and space

• Attend team trainings and meetings

Time Commitment

One or more evenings a week to set up for café space. Times are flexible in order to ensure decoration is in place prior to the regular café meeting time. The time required is dependent upon the extent of decoration. Typically this would require approximately an hour on site prior to the event with suggested times as follows.

• Mondays: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

• Wednesdays: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with, the CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits (cf https://www.cschurch.ca/central/about/who-we-are/)

Training

• Common Centre Orientation

• Familiarization with The Well Café purpose and goals

• Orientation to Café space and Café organization
