Position Description

Drop-In Friends love, bless and assist our neighbours by hosting them as they come to the Well Café. They connect with people and engage them in meaningful conversations.

Responsibilities

• Arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of a function for prayer, daily briefing and assignments

• Welcoming neighbours as they enter the café space

• Engage in meaningful conversations with neighbours

• Be ready to share your faith story when the opportunity presents itself

• Assist in maintaining the Café space e.g. clear/clean tables, empty garbage bin as necessary.

• Report back to Ministry staff to share testimonies

• Regular attendance at ministry trainings and meetings

Time Commitment

One evening a week as follows.

• Mondays: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Wednesdays: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with, the CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits (cf https://www.cschurch.ca/central/about/who-we-are/)

• Connection with CSC Community

• Connection with our neighbours

• Opportunity to exercise a wide variety of spiritual giftings
