Position Description

The Lunchbox Prep Team member prepares sandwiches and other items for lunchboxes. The team member also helps build the lunchboxes and package them for distribution to various agencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches

• Prepare other items for lunchboxes

• Build the lunchbox

• Package lunchboxes for distribution

• Assist in cleaning up the kitchen and doing dishes

• Report to head cook when more supplies are needed

Time Commitment

Shifts are available for regularly engaged team members. Special events may require additional assistance where expose members can partake. Team members commit to the following.

• Monday 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Qualifications

• Understanding of, and agreement with, the CSC Statement of Faith, Mission and Pursuits (cf https://www.cschurch.ca/central/about/who-we-are/)

• Familiarity with Compassion & Care mission, vision and process

• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, Manual dexterity

Training

• Food safety basics

• Specific on-site training provided by the Head Cook as tasks demand
