The Sewing Instructor uses their passion for sewing to equip women—many who are new to Canada—by helping them learn to sew in a safe and friendly environment. This outreach is to women in NW Calgary.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Love participants unconditionally and demonstrate God’s love by creating a joyful, safe place for women to attend
- Teach women basic sewing skills
- Help women improve their sewing skills
Qualifications
- Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
- Approachable, trustworthy, and passionate about helping women
- Sewing experience; enjoy teaching a practical skill
