The Knitting/Crochet Group Leader provides direction and leadership to a group of individuals who gather together to learn skills and interact with each other while working on knitting/crochet projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead, guide, and encourage volunteers teaching visitors knitting/crochet skills
· Organize group projects, activities, and outreach opportunities
· Build relationships and encourage faith discussions
· Pray regularly with and for volunteers and group participants
· Ensure weekly attendance is recorded
· Report to staff re: “God-Stories”, prayer requests, and emergencies
· Monitor and distribute donated supplies and materials as appropriate

Qualifications
· Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
· Christ-like love and respect for new immigrants/people of other faiths and cultures
· Intermediate to Advanced skill in knitting and/or crochet
· Able to observe and manage healthy group dynamics and resolve conflicts
