NCFC - Knitting / Crochet Group Leader

The Knitting/Crochet Group Leader provides direction and leadership to a group of individuals who gather together to learn skills and interact with each other while working on knitting/crochet projects.


Duties & Responsibilities
Β· Lead, guide, and encourage volunteers teaching visitors knitting/crochet skills
Β· Organize group projects, activities, and outreach opportunities
Β· Build relationships and encourage faith discussions
Β· Pray regularly with and for volunteers and group participants
Β· Ensure weekly attendance is recorded
Β· Report to staff re: β€œGod-Stories”, prayer requests, and emergencies
Β· Monitor and distribute donated supplies and materials as appropriate


Qualifications
Β· Understanding of, and agreement with our Statement of Faith, Principles & Beliefs
Β· Christ-like love and respect for new immigrants/people of other faiths and cultures
Β· Intermediate to Advanced skill in knitting and/or crochet
Β· Able to observe and manage healthy group dynamics and resolve conflicts
