Meadows Church - Langley British Columbia
Kim and Mike have been married for 14 years and have three kids: Raelyn, Makenna and Grayson. Mike, Kim and the kids are incredibly missional in their approach to life. Mike coaches Raelyn and Makenna’s soccer teams and Grayson’s hockey team. Kim works part-time and volunteers heavily at Langley Meadows Elementary as PAC president. As a family they love hiking ice-skating, biking, playing board games and being hospitable with their home and pool.
We have been blown away by what God is doing in our Langley Meadows. Who would of thought that a Covid VBS on our front and backyard would lead to a house church (now church plant) three years later as kids come to know Jesus and their parents want to know Him too. We love it and we are excited for this new season of ministry as we run Alpha and ramp up presence and ministry in Langley Meadows.
Langley Meadows is small community in the heart of Langley. It is a tight knit community of young families that come together around the elementary school. There are about 2,000 single family homes and another 2,000 condos/townhomes in our direct vicinity. Most of these households do not have a faith in Jesus. We have an expanding reach as we come alongside the Langley Meadows Community Association and as we are very intentional to be involved in the school. Kim is president of the PAC and Mike helps with breakfast club and reading in classrooms.
