Pastor John A. Kaiser of Abbotsford, BC slipped into the arms of Jesus on Oct. 14, 2023, leaving a legacy of love and faith. Pastor Kaiser served as Senior Pastor of Centre Street Church in the early and mid-1980s and was serving in that role when Pastor Henry Schorr joined the church as Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Adults.
Pastor Kaiser left a legacy of faith and committed service to God at Centre Street Church and the other places he served in ministry. He is remembered as a quiet, gentle man who enjoyed people. To many, he was a shelter, and a safe place.
Pastor Kaiser retired to the lower mainland many years ago and his memorial will be held at Clearbrook Mennonite Brethren Church in Abbotsford BC on November 18, 2023 at 1:30 pm local time (2:30 Calgary time). The service will be live streamed on their website HERE.
